Plateau Food Distributors Management and employees are sympathetic to the plights of many causes and contribute generously to many fundraising events. Their contributions reach further than simply monetary donations and include the donation of foods for consumption at special events and hampers for fundraising efforts to mention a few.
Some of the annual fundraising events include:
- Sydney Special Children's Christmas Party - Annual Christmas Party for kids with special needs
- Dino's Pizza Hotrod and Customs Show for NICCUPS
Dino's Pizza, in conjunction with The Glenmore Park Town Centre & AMP, arrange a Hotrod & Customs show every year in the Glenmore Park Town Centre. Plateau is delighted to be involved with Dino's Pizza in assisting them to raise funds for the NeoNatal Clinic. Since inception in 2003, the funds raised have increased from $1600 to $14000 in 2009.
- Rotary Club Charity Gold Day for The Prostrate Cancer Foundation of Australia, Bear Cottage & Rotary Projects - Annual Golf Day held at Terrey Hills
- Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal - Plateau, together with Mrs Macs, helps feed the volunteers as they collect for this very worthy cause.
Their community involvement recently extended past our borders with a substantial donation to the Samoan Tsunami Appeal which tragically took the life of a former employee. |
